Origami Cranes
All ages are invited to fold Origami cranes in the Cottage-Pisano foyer during the Festival. This activity is organized by members of the August Peace Event in Sacramento to commemorate the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and their victims. The cranes folded at the Festival will be sent to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima.
