Lucinda Kasser is a California painter working within the traditions of representational still life
and landscape painting. Her work is held in public and private collections nationally. She has been
included in numerous group exhibitions including "Contemporary Artists Paint Yosemite" and "Sea to
Shining Sea: A Reflection of America." After initial study at the University of Maryland in Munich,
Lucinda moved to Northern California in 1976 where she completed her undergraduate study in Art at
Humboldt State University, Arcata and her graduate work at California State University, Sacramento.
Having joined the faculty in 1986, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Arts
at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
