For the third year, a group of talented artists will assemble along the Lost Slough Trail and Marsh Boardwalk at the Cosumnes River Preserve for a Paint Out in conjunction with the Sandhill Crane Festival.
Working in the tradition of plein air painting, these artists will be recording their direct response to the habitat and wildlife of the Preserve.
Details
The Paint Out will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The public is welcome to view the art in progress and return at 4:00 to view the work accomplished during the day. Alternatively, you could join Tour #23, Art in the Field, which will visit the artists while they are working.
In addition, please visit the Art Show at the Festival, which will surely have works from past Paint Outs. For more information and directions to the Cosumnes River Preserve.
