Doors open at 6 PM – Dinner at 6:30 PM

Join us for a gourmet dinner served family-style as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sandhill Crane Festival.

Cathy Cook will share her Cranes in Motion multimedia project in a short presentation after dinner.  Cranes in Motion includes documentary, moving images, and sound to explore the fascinating dynamics of crane culture and natural history.   Mimicking Whooper, a virtual interaction, is part of the Cranes in Motion and will be running during the Festival in Thomas Theatre.  Cathy Cook is an Associate Professor in Visual Arts at The University of Maryland Baltimore County. 

Phil Isenberg, former Mayor of Sacramento and member of the California State Assembly, will be presented the 2016 Sandhill Crane Festival Conservation Award in recognition of his extensive work focusing on Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta issues.

Catering by Sandra will provide dinner menu which includes:

Wine, iced tea and coffee are included.

$30 per person
